How we are
Deukom Travel has been in operation since 1999 and before that the agency operated under the name Olivier Travel. Deukom Travel is situated in Somerset West, which lies in the Cape wine region and is approximately 45km from Cape Town.
We have five dedicated and motivated Travel Consultants in our employ that strive to offer our clients the best suitable package or travel arrangements. Due to our long standing relationship with the German Community in southern Africa, we have three German speaking consultants in our Outbound Department and one German speaking consultant in our Inbound Department.
We at Deukom Travel aim to identify our customers needs and expectations and are proud of our turnaround time in sending out quotes, offers and sales. Through extensive and ongoing training and world-wide travelling our Consultants are experts in their fields.
Although it is always a pleasure when customers visit our offices we have many clients from far a field. We are proud to participate in the evolution of technology and we strive to stay abreast and ahead. We are always looking for opportunities to improve our services and build on a sound relationship and partnership with our customers and service providers.
With the Soccer World Cup 2010 approaching we are anticipating a great future and loads of opportunities for South Africa. Keep watching this space for upcoming offers.

Jana Bode
1. First impressions last. My clients feel welcomed and accommodated. I am a good listener and I am genuinely interested in my clients. This helps when I am matching their requests to the ideal travel package for them. I offer my clients more and go the extra mile to fulfil on their dreams.
2. My favourite holiday destination is the african bush safari - on top of my list is the Kgalagadi Transfontier Park. I love camping and being as close to nature as possible.
3. South Africa is so diverse and offers so many different things. I am a nature girl and I love animals in their own environment. My favourite places to visit within ZA are the game parks. I also enjoy driving along the backroads of the country instead of using the highways. Small villages like Keimoes and Kakamas lie very close to my heart. I am very fond of the Karoo, and I also enjoy driving through Kwazulu Natal and spending time in Pongola and Mkuze. For people who enjoy the outdoors and nature South Africa is unbeatable!
4. I love working at Deukom Travel! We are a cosy yet professional agency and we enjoy a great working environment. As colleagues we get along great and always put servicing our clients first. We truly work as one team.

1. Happy clients make me happy. I believe in providing outstanding service from the beginning until the client returns from their dream trip. I also seek to provide clients with more than they anticipated.
2. My favourite Holiday destination is difficult to say as there are so many!! I love Jerusalem because it is so unique and has a flair that is difficult to describe.
3. I love South Africa because of the weather and the friendly people. Table Mountain for hiking, Kruger Nationalpark for game watching. Namaqualand for the flowers, the West Coast because you can relax there like nowhere else, Lesotho for skiing
4. Deukom Travel is a wonderful place to work because everybody is so caring and friendly. The teams always goes the extra mile to make things happen. The people are open and honest and the atmosphere is great.
Yolandi De Leeuw Den Bouter
1. In order to give a good service to my clients, I believe in going "the extra mile". It is important that you are interested in what the client really wants. I ask all the necessary questions about what would make their holiday a dream holiday! I strive to provide quotations and answers within 24 hours and always provide advice regarding their visas requirements, car rental, accommodation, forex etc.
2. The whole world is my favourite destination! I love travel and love working with people! - each destination has its own favourite places, and with every country you have the opportunity to explore and meet different people and places. Africa is special for its nature and beautiful sunsets and animal life. In Europe I love Greece for its island-hopping and people.
3.To travel and to make peoples dream-holiday come true is my passion! I speak Afrikaans, English and Dutch. As Deukom Travel we would like to give the best possible service to all our clients! Everything is possible and for every problem there is a solution!

1. Definately more than the usual travel agent, as we will go that extra mile further to get the client exactly what he wants. May it be airline or railway tickets, car rental, accomodation, holiday packages, visas, travel insurance......
