Whats the quickest way for me to find what I'm looking for?
Simply click on the various categories (Flights worldwide, Inbound Travel and Last minute and Car Rental) and peruse the various product offerings. Here you can click, scroll and browse or simply punch the keyword directly into the Search Engine.
What do I do if I can't find what I'm looking for?
Call us at: +27 21 851 1012. For any Internet booking support we're happy to assist you in finding what you're looking for!
How do I book on-line?
Once you find what you're looking for, please click on "info" to go over the detailed information. Take note that for some offers you will need to check the availability as well as with certain delivery options. Then you enter your address and your credit card data. No fear: We work with a safety server, which protects your data.
Note: In the case of low cost carriers particularly your credit card is not charged by Deukom Travel, but by the airline itself eg. Kulula, Ryan Air etc.
What can I do if I have a problem with the booking?
If you have a problem with regard to your booking or if there is an error with your booking confirmation, send to us an e-mail to info@deukomtravel.co.za or call us at Tel. +27 21 851 1012.
Which delivery options exist?
Before you send your order, you must select a delivery option. Dependent on your chosen service/product, different options will be offered to you. The costs are always disclosed.
What can I do if tickets and/or the travel documents don't arrive?

How do I receive tickets?
It depends on whether you would like a paper ticket or an e- ticket as well as the area/region from which you are booking.

E- tickets: Within 24 hours after you have placed your order you will receive an E-Mail confirmation with passenger Itinerary receipt of your order. Which amongst other things explains how your e-ticket is to be used.
Paper - Tickets: Our Consultants will advise you on how you will receive your ticket.

Characteristically with Low cost carriers e.g. Kulula you do not receive a flight ticket. Please take the Emailed reservation confirmation details with you to the Airline check-out with your valid passport.
With regard to Paper Tickets: By May 2008 airline tickets the way we know them will no longer be issued. Until such time Deukom Travel can offer our clients paper tickets at an additional charge. Please also take note that should you require delivery of your ticket a fee will be levied for that service too.
Our Consultants will be happy to advise you on relevant fees and surcharges.
What do I need to fly with at e-ticket (electronic ticket)?
Its simple, you need a valid Passport and Itinerary. The simplest method is to go directly to the Airline Check-In when you arrive at the airport with your passport and ticket or passenger itinerary receipt (e-ticket).
For domestic flights within South Africa a drivers licence or Identity Document will suffice in place of a passport.
Why fly with an e - ticket and not a paper ticket?
Principally e-tickets save you an unnecessary stress factor! With an e-ticket you are flexible, no more waiting for your ticket to arrive at the post office. You avoid the risk of loss (A risk that lies with the client).

Why can I only partly order an electronic ticket?
At this stage not all routes and not all airlines are interlinked.
The IATA (international air transport Association) will only accept e- tickets by May 2008.
What do I do, if the paper ticket does not arrive by post or if I have other questions?
Please call within 5 days of purchase if your ticket has not arrived / been issued. Our service number is +27 21 851 1012 or email at info@deukomtravel.co.za.
What is the shortest notice I can give to make a booking?
You can book with us up twenty-four hours before departure.
Unless Circumstances such as weekends and public holidays prevent booking. For emergencies you are welcome to call our emergency number: +27 76 730 7562
Whats the procedure with children travelling unaccompanied?
The booking of flights for unaccompanied children is not permitted on-line.
In this instance it is best to speak to one of our Consultants who will advise you on the different costs per airline and the various surcharges for the respective airlines.
When making a booking for an unaccompanied child it is of utmost importance to advise our Consultants who will advise the airline.
The following details are required and can be given to the Consultant via telephone or email to complete a booking for unaccompanied children:
Name and Address of the chaperones/ guardian who will be bringing and collecting the child on departure and arrival.
The Chaperones/Guardians degree of relationship to child
All relevant telephone numbers,
Childs date of birth

How do I cancel a flight?
A cancellation can take place exclusively in writing. Not refundable. You have to request to withdraw from the purchase, you can do so by fax +27 21 851 1228 or by E-Mail at info@deukomtravel.co.za.
Different Tickets have different restrictions. Please enquire with one of our Consultants who will assist you with your concerns.
Do I have to pay cancellation fees?
Its almost certain that a cancellation fee will be applied. But our Consultants will provide you with this information.

What, if I do not find/understand something?

When and how do I receive my travel documents?
Once we have confirmation in writing and full payment your travel documents will be issued.
Are the prices for children how high?
Once again it depends on the fare and depends on the airline. If the fare is a special fare it is not likely that a further discount will be granted.
Many of our fares will include a discount for children. Where applicable this is expressly mentioned in the itinerary for the trip.
Can I change travel data after I have booked?
Transfer postings and changes are only possible against a fee, which depend on the appropriate tour operator guidelines. Do you turn please directly to our service center by email to info@deukomtravel.co.za or call us at +27 21 851 1012. Please have your reservation confirmation at hand.
Who charges my credit card?
Your credit card is charged by the relevant airline. We only act as agent between passenger and the airline, car rental companies and tour operators.
Do I need a travel insurance?
We highly recommend the inclusion of travel insurance. This should be booked at the same time that you book your journey.
